AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: October 19, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution authorizing execution of an
Inter-Agency Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and Washington
Traffic Safety Commission.
BACKGROUND: The purpose of this Inter-Agency Agreement is to provide overtime
funding for high visibility enforcement (HVE), traffic safety emphasis patrols, and
related activities in support of Target Zero priorities. The two agencies have worked
cooperatively on this project for more than 10 years.
INTERACTION: This interagency agreement was reviewed and approved by the
Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution authorizing execution of an
Inter-Agency Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and Washington
Traffic Safety Commission.
HANDLING: Please return 1 signed original to KCSO. Sheriff’s Office to provide a
fully executed Agreement back to the BOCC upon signature by WTSC.
