KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: October 19, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution authorizing execution of an <br />Inter-Agency Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and Washington <br />Traffic Safety Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The purpose of this Inter-Agency Agreement is to provide overtime <br />funding for high visibility enforcement (HVE), traffic safety emphasis patrols, and <br />related activities in support of Target Zero priorities. The two agencies have worked <br />cooperatively on this project for more than 10 years. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: This interagency agreement was reviewed and approved by the <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution authorizing execution of an <br />Inter-Agency Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and Washington <br />Traffic Safety Commission. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Please return 1 signed original to KCSO. Sheriff’s Office to provide a <br />fully executed Agreement back to the BOCC upon signature by WTSC. <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff
