COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM/ WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 8:00 A.M. OCTOBER 4, 2021
Board members present via Webex: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice-
Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others via Webex: Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Stephanie
Hartung, DPA III; and Kady Porterfield, Event Center Director. SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 8:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess
into Executive Session for 10 minutes to discuss with legal counsel
representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement
actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency
litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the
governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is
likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the
discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial
consequence to the agency. Action anticipated.
At 8:10 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There
was no action taken.
At 8:10 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess
into Executive Session for 10 minutes to discuss with legal counsel

At 8:20 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There
was direction to Staff to draft a letter and bring it forward for
Board review and signature.
Consider Chair Signature on a NACoRF Grant
Chairman Wachsmith reviewed the Grant contract with the Board. This
is for a national grant. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz moved to approve and
authorize Chair signature on a NACoRF Grant. Commissioner Wright
seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
