COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM/ WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING THURSDAY 9:00 A.M. SEPTEMBER 9, 2021
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Amy McGuffin,
Chamber CEO; Emily Masseth, Chamber Communications Manager; and 1
member of the public.
SPECIAL MEETING CHAMBER OF COMMERCE COMMISSIONERS
At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting to receive
a quarterly update from Chamber CEO Amy McGuffin.
Amy McGuffin, CEO of the Chamber provided talking points and gave
reports on the last year and the first two quarters of 2021. The
Board was able to ask clarifying questions about the reports. Ms.
McGuffin asked the Board if there were any data sets they wanted to
see on the reports moving forward that are not currently presented.
Commissioner Osiadacz would like to see the number of new jobs and
the wages of the jobs created. Commissioner Wright would like to see
explanations of “whys” on lost opportunities and more of the
priorities from the strategic plan.
There was discussion on future reports that would be provided for
the recreation forum.
The Board thanked Ms. McGuffin for the update.
