STATE OF WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE WRITE-OFF OF UNCOLLECTABLE DEBTS
TOTALING $165.00 PAYABLE TO THE KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT
RESOLUTION No. 2021 -_______
WHEREAS, Kittitas County Code 4.04.010 establishes that fee schedules for the activities of the
Kittitas County Public Health Department shall be set by annual resolution of the Board of Health; and
WHEREAS, The Fiscal Analyst of the Kittitas County Public Health Department (the “Department”)
tracks and issues monthly statements for monies owed to the Department; and
WHEREAS, The Fiscal Analyst of the Department has reviewed the 2020 outstanding accounts
receivable, and in consultation with the Kittitas County Auditor’s office, has determined that the Department
has one (1) account receivable in the total amount of $165 which is uncollectable; and
WHEREAS, diligent efforts have been made to collect on these delinquent, uncollectable accounts; and
WHEREAS, the write-off of uncollectable accounts is fiscally responsible and necessary to provide an
accurate measure of Kittitas County’s financial position; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Kittitas County, Washington, as follows:
1) That the following accounts receivable are uncollectable and are authorized for write-off:
Invoice Debtor Program Amount
#1759 Curly’s Environmental Health $ 165.00
2) That the above accounts receivable, in the total amount of $165.00, are hereby authorized to be
removed from the financial records of Kittitas County effective upon the adoption of this Resolution.
