ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement
Between Kittitas County and Kittitas County Health Network (Modification of this
existing agreement)
BACKGROUND: This is a modification of the existing personal services agreement
with Kittitas County Health Network for the Kittitas County MAT Program. The
original agreement was reviewed and approved by the BOCC on July 6, 2021. The
purpose of this modification is to allow for change in required credentials of the Nurse
Care Manager position due to unexpected inability to recruit and hire a License Practical
Nurse as had been anticipated by the parties. The parties agree herein that the Nurse Care
Manager position may filled by any category of Nurse as defined in RCW 18.79 who is
admitted to such practice in accordance with that chapter. It is further agreed that the
financial provisions of the existing agreement will be adjusted equitably pursuant to
section 12.3, but that such adjustment will involve only internal allocation and will not
change the total amount of compensation.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and
approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement
Between Kittitas County and Kittitas County Health Network (Modification of this
existing agreement)
HANDLING: Return one fully executed original to the Sheriff’s Office.
