AGENDA DATE: September 7, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to approve a Personal Services Agreement
between Kittitas County and Phil Backlund.
BACKGROUND: The proposed Personal Services Agreement between
Kittitas County and Phil Backlund was prepared by Lisa
Young, Human Resources Director. This is a standardized
Personal Services Agreement that has been drafted by the
Prosecutors office.
INTERACTION: The agreement is for ongoing consultation services for the
Board of Commissioners strategic plan development,
implementation, and refinement from July 1, 2021, and
shall be completed no later than June 30, 2022.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Personal Services Agreement between Kittitas
County and Phil Backlund in the amount of $2,000 per
month for services provided; $149.00/month for
reimbursement of Traction Tools license fee; and $1,500.00
per quarterly workshop.
