CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES

Regular Meeting
MONDAY 1:30 PM August 9, 2021
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice -Chairman
Laura Osiadacz; and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others In -Person: Dan Carlson, Toni Berkshire and Mike Flory,
Community Development Services; Mark Cook, Arden Thomas and
Rebecca Cruse, Public Works; and one (1) member of the public.
Others via WebEx: Neil Caulkins, Prosecuting Attorney; Jessica
Miller, Community Development Services and three (3) members of
the public.
At 2:12 pm Chairman Wachsmith opened the Community Development
Services Study Session.
AGRITOURISM DISCUSSION
CDS Director Dan Carlson stated this item is removed from the
agenda.
EXECUTIVE SESSION UNDER RCW 42.30.110 (i)(iii)
At 2:15 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess
into Executive Session for 15 minutes to discuss with legal
counsel representing the agency enforcement actions, or to
discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or
potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or
a member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to
become a party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion
is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial consequence
to the agency. No action anticipated.
At 2:30 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
There was no action taken.
