RESOLUTION TO REJECT FORMAL BIDS FORPURCHASE OF TENT STRUCTURES
WHEREAS, a formal bid request was published on July 15,20211o purchase two tent structures for the
Kittitas Valley Event Center; and
WHEREAS, two bids were received by the requested deadline that was extended by Addendum due to
specifi cation clarifi cation; and
WHEREAS, it was determined during the bid review that the specifications were not complete in order
to accurately bid the project based off of not receiving proper information from the City of
Ellensburg on city code requirements; and
WHEREAS' the bid that could meet specifications is disqualified due to exceeding the maximum
amount of $120,000 in the bid terms set out in the Tent Structures RFB - Bid No.
KVEC202l-02;and
NOW THEREFORE' BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County,
Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby reject the formal bids for tent
structures at the Kittitas Valley Event Center.
