BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />No.2o2t-_1fi <br />RESOLUTION TO REJECT FORMAL BIDS FORPURCHASE OF TENT STRUCTURES <br />WHEREAS, a formal bid request was published on July 15,20211o purchase two tent structures for the <br />Kittitas Valley Event Center; and <br />WHEREAS, two bids were received by the requested deadline that was extended by Addendum due to <br />specifi cation clarifi cation; and <br />WHEREAS, it was determined during the bid review that the specifications were not complete in order <br />to accurately bid the project based off of not receiving proper information from the City of <br />Ellensburg on city code requirements; and <br />WHEREAS' the bid that could meet specifications is disqualified due to exceeding the maximum <br />amount of $120,000 in the bid terms set out in the Tent Structures RFB - Bid No. <br />KVEC202l-02;and <br />NOW THEREFORE' BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby reject the formal bids for tent <br />structures at the Kittitas Valley Event Center. <br />DATED this t'1+'day of 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />KITTITAS <br />ABSENT <br />Commissioner <br />rt of the <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board <br />//ltililill
