AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: August 17, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement
between Kittitas County and Accurate Electric Unlimited.
BACKGROUND: This agreement is between Kittitas County and Accurate Electric
Unlimited. The current schedule for camera replacement for 2021 is due to the current
equipment being ‘first generation’ with a limited remaining lifespan with most of the
models no longer available for replacement. Accurate Electric Unlimited (AEU) proposes
to provide and install thirty‐two (32) new dome cameras which includes two (2) PTZ
cameras. The V2005 cameras by Vicon are being introduced this year with specifications
exceeding previous versions, such as higher resolution, audio jack capability, audio/relay
output capability, and higher zoom capability. AEU will replace the cameras using the
existing CAT5 cable infrastructure and replace ‘in‐situ’. AEU Provides the following
replacement camera schedule. AEU proposes the installation be completed with two (2)
on site Journeymen with remote programming by software engineers in 1 week. Proposed
working hours are 0700‐1530 hours daily. All travel time and expenses, reuse existing
camera licenses, electrical permit, mounting hardware for new cameras, parts, and labor
are included in the total price with possible additional costs AEU proposes to be on site
within 14 days of Notice to Proceed.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and
approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement
between Kittitas County and Accurate Electric Unlimited.
HANDLING: Return one fully executed original to the Sheriff’s Office.
