ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve Professional Services Agreement for Fair
Security
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Fair requests approval of the professional services
agreement (PSA) with Phoenix Protective Corp. for security services
during the annual Fair. The Fair has hired Phoenix Protective in the most
recent consecutive years past to fill the event’s security needs. The Event
Center Director is authorized to sign agreements up to $10,000, but no
more. The total estimated cost of this agreement is over $12,042.00,
therefore requiring approval from BOCC.
