AGENDA DATE: August 17, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Reject Formal Bids for
Purchase of Tent Structures
BACKGROUND: A Call for Bids for Bid Number: KVEC2021-02 was approved on July
14, 2021. The Kittitas Valley Event Center received two bids by the
amended bid deadline. Unfortunately, the lowest bid didn’t meet the
minimum specifications and the other bid surpassed the maximum
budget amount allowed on the bid. Therefore, both bids are disqualified
based off the RFB terms.
The Event Center Director recommends rejecting all bids at this time
based on disqualification status.
