COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON AUDITORIUM/WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. AUGUST 3, 2021
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz; and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Kay Kresge, Fiscal
Analyst; Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager; Carly Brettmann,
Communications Director; Dave Welz, Administrative Assistant; Ken
Grannan, Airport Director; Jennifer Golladay, Tax Collection Deputy;
and 4 members of the public.
Per Governor Inslee’s Proclamation 20-28 et seq., the public was
encouraged to join the meeting virtually or in person.
PUBLIC HEARING SURPLUS PROPERTY AUDITOR
At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider
declaring equipment surplus to the County’s needs.
KAY KRESGE, FISCAL ANALYST provided a Staff Report and reviewed
items that were determined surplus to the County’s needs.
THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. RESOLUTION 2021-124 SURPLUS PROPERTY AUDITOR VICE-CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2021-124, to
Declare Equipment Surplus to the County. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT
seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
PUBLIC HEARING GRAZING LEASES – AIRPORT AIRPORT
At 2:03 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider
revised Leases at Bowers Field.
KEN GRANNAN, AIRPORT DIRECTOR indicated he had obtained some new
information that needed to be reviewed and recommended continuing
the Public Hearing until August 17, 2021.
THERE WAS NO PUBLIC REQUESTING TO TESTIFY. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ moved to continue the Public Hearing to Tuesday
August 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Auditorium, noting

the record to remain open. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded. Motion
carried 3-0. PUBLIC HEARING AMEND KITTITAS COUNTY CODE TITLE 19 AIRPORT
At 2:05 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider
revising Title 19 of the Kittitas County Code Amending Minimum
Standards, Rules and Regulations and Design Standards.
KEN GRANNAN, AIRPORT DIRECTOR indicated he had obtained some new
information that needed to be reviewed and recommended continuing
the Public Hearing until August 17, 2021.
THERE WAS NO PUBLIC REQUESTING TO TESTIFY. VICE-CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ moved to continue the Public Hearing to
Tuesday August 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners
Auditorium, noting the record to remain open. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT
seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:07 p.m.
