KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2021 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: August 3, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing on August 17, 2021 at 2:00 <br />pm to consider the establishment of Micheletto Road onto <br />the public road system. <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works vacated Micheletto Road with Resolution <br />2019-096. Subsequent to that effort, adjoining property <br />owners petitioned Public Works to re-establish Micheletto <br />Road. County Surveyor Turnbull has recently completed <br />the work required to re-establish Micheletto Road and <br />Public Works has the necessary deeds in hand supporting <br />re-establishment. The new road is shorter and has an <br />approved turn -around at the end supporting future <br />maintenance operations. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Schedule a public hearing for August 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM <br />local time receiving testimony for establishing Micheletto <br />Road onto the County public road system. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Map. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
