Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />August 3, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes a Resolution authorizing the execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between the Kittitas County Public Health Department and Tacoma Pierce <br />County Health Department. (Effective dates: January 1, 2022- December 31, 2026) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Interlocal Agreement between the Kittitas County Public Health Department and Tacoma <br />Pierce County Health Department is made and entered into so that KCPHD may issue food <br />workers cards from the Tacoma Pierce Food Handlers on line system. The agreement outlines <br />funding and maintenance of the online version of the Tacoma Pierce County Food Handlers test <br />in Kittitas County. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Board of Health: N/A <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on July 13, 2021 <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on July 15, 2021 <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes a Resolution authorizing the execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between the Kittitas County Public Health Department and Tacoma Pierce <br />County Health Department.
