COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 1:30 P.M. JULY 27, 2021
Board members present via Webex: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz and
Commissioner Cory Wright. Excused: Chairman Brett Wachsmith.
Others via Webex: Mandy Buchholz, Administrative Supervisor; Neil
Calkins, Chief Civil Deputy; Patti Stacey, Solid Waste
Director/Project Manager/Interim Maintenance Director; Carly
Brettmann, Communications Director.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 1:42 p.m. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess
into Executive Session for 10 minutes to discuss with legal counsel
representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement
actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency
litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the
governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is
likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the
discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial
consequence to the agency. No action anticipated.
At 1:52 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There
was no action taken.
At 1:52 p.m. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess
back into Executive Session for 10 minutes to discuss with legal
counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency
enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing
the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency,
the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is,
or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the
discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial
consequence to the agency. No action anticipated.
At 2:02 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There
was no action taken.
At 2:02 p.m. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess
back into Executive Session for 15 minutes to discuss with legal
counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency
enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing
the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency,
the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is,
or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the

discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial
consequence to the agency. No action anticipated.
At 2:17 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. Staff
was given direction to work with Legal.
Meeting adjourned 2:17 p.m.
