AGENDA DATE: July 20, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval for Chairs signature on Change Order
number 2 with Mass X for the Colockum Building Demolition.
BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Event Center received a grant to demolish the
Colockum building and to extend water around the Bloom Pavilion.
During the project unforeseen items where encountered under the
existing building. (Additional foundations, slabs, and waterlines.)
additional work and time needed to remove these items. This change
is for the additional work and materials needed to complete the
project on time the for the upcoming event.
INTERACTION: Solid Waste/Maintenance Director, Event Center Director and
MassX.
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Boards approval for the Chair to sign Change order 2.
HANDLING: Return to Maintenance.
