KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, WEBEX <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM June 14, 2021 <br />Board members present via WebEx: Vice -Chairman Laura Osiadacz <br />and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br />Others via WebEx: Dan Carlson, Jeremy Johnston, Bridget Pechtel <br />and Jessica Miller, Community Development Services; Mark Cook <br />Josh Fredrickson, Arden Thomas and Rebecca Cruse, Public Works; <br />and Neil Caulkins, Prosecuting Attorney. <br />At 1:31 pm Vice -Chairman Osiadacz opened the Community <br />Development Services Study Session. <br />CRITICAL AREAS ORDINANCE UPDATE <br />CDS Director Dan Carlson provided an update on the Critical <br />Areas Ordinance timeline. The press release has been published <br />and public comment portion has started. The Study Session with <br />the Planning Commission and our consultants is scheduled for <br />July 13, 2021 at 6 p.m. The Planning Commission Public Hearing <br />is scheduled for August 10, 2021 at 6 p.m. The Planning <br />Commission will make a recommendation and will this will be <br />provided at a study session with the Board of County <br />Commissioners is will be scheduled for late August/Early <br />September and the Board of County Commissioners is projected to <br />be scheduled for September 21, 2021 for possible adoption in <br />October. <br />DISCUSS UPCOMING JOINT MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS AND THE PLANNNG COMMISSION <br />CDS Director Dan Carlson stated the joint meeting with the Board <br />of County Commissioners and the Planning Commissioners has been <br />scheduled for the July 12th CDS Study Session. This meeting will <br />be to discuss the current status and the next steps for the long <br />range planning and for predictive mapping in Kittitas County. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />2021-6-28 MINUTES 1 <br />
