MiscJudy/Advance Agreement Staff Report <br />Kittitas County <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Agenda Date: July 6, 2021 <br /> <br />Action Requested: Request to have the Chairman sign the County Program Agreement–Long <br />Term Payable Agreement DSHS Agreement # 2163-23580 for the <br />Developmental Disabilities Program <br /> <br /> <br />Background: The County currently has an agreement with DSHS for funds held in advance for the <br />Developmental Disability and Substance Abuse Programs. The amount currently on <br />hand is $54,000.00 for Developmental Disabilities (DD). On March 31, 2020, the <br />County Auditor sent in a Contract Period Analysis to DSHS for the advance funds to <br />determine if the need is still present and to verify the funds are still available. These <br />advance funds are to alleviate the cash flow problems associated with the time lag <br />between payment by the County for services and reimbursement from DSHS.
