KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Juvenile Court Services <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: July 6, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve County Program Agreement— i -ACT Program <br />Development <br />BACKGROUND: The Department of Children, Youth and Families Juvenile Justice and <br />Rehabilitation Administration administers juvenile offender programs <br />funded by the State for Washington State Juvenile Court interventions <br />resultant from youth being found guilty of offenses. This County <br />Program Agreement sets the parameters for the program development <br />that our office is participating in. It provides reimbursement to our <br />County for staff time to develop, train, and provide consultation to T- <br />ACT trainers providing the service. <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and approved as to form the <br />contract. Additionally, Information Services and the Auditor's Office <br />reviewed. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the County Program Agreement i -ACT Program <br />Development for the period of July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2023 <br />between Juvenile Court Services and Department of Children, Youth <br />and Families <br />HANDLING: Request two signed original documents be returned to JCA to pursue <br />DCYF signature and subsequent return of an original fully executed <br />document to the BoCC for County records.
