AGENDA DATE: July 6, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Approve the transfer of development rights and
responsibilities supporting the sale of New Suncadia to
Real Capital Solutions, LLC (dba New Suncadia Resort)
BACKGROUND: New Suncadia desires selling interest in the Master Planned
Resort (MPR) to Real Capital Solutions (dba New Suncadia
Resort). Over the past several weeks, the Prosecuting
Attorney’s Office and several departments of the Board
have worked addressing specifics of the proposed
ownership transfer agreement. Affected Jurisdictions have
been contacted and staff has assisted the PA’s Office
vetting the viability of the proposed purchaser. Transfer
documents are now ready for Board action. The documents
inventory outstanding issues in the “restated” development
agreement for noticing purposes to New Suncadia Resort.
Approval of transfer documents is anticipated to “reset” the
County’s relationship with MPR owner and management
interests.
INTERACTION: Public Works.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve transfer documents.
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works.
