COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING MONDAY 8:00 A.M. JUNE 28, 2021
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz; and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board and Phil Backlund.
SPECIAL MEETING WEEKLY PLANNING UPDATE COMMISSIONERS
At 8:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting with Phil
Backlund, for a weekly planning update.
Phil Backlund, Consultant reviewed the weekly planning agenda and
distributed a copy of the measurables with the assigned Commissioner
listed.
The Board reviewed good news; how and when they would roll out their
plans; reviewed their “rocks”; constituent/employee headlines;
issues on track to solve; a recap of their to-do lists; and a rating
of the meeting.
The Board agreed to change their weekly meetings to Mondays at 10:00
a.m. The next one will be on July 12th at 10:00 a.m. due to
Commissioner Wright being out of the office the week of July 5th. The
Board previously agreed to only meet if all three members were
available to attend. Chairman Wachsmith is to schedule meetings with
Department Heads and Elected Officials to review their shared vision
and plans prior to the Budget Retreat. Mr. Backlund will help him
develop an Agenda for those meetings ahead of time.
Meeting adjourned at 8:40 a.m.
