Public Health <br />To Protect and Promote the Health and the Environment of the People of Kittitas County <br />KITTITAS COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH (BOH) <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 20,2021 <br />WebEx <br />10:00 am <br />Present <br />Board of Health (BOH):Cory Wright,Brett Wachsmith,Laura Osiadacz,John Asriel M.D.,Dede Utley <br />Public Health:Katie Odiaga,Tristen Lamb,Chelsey Loeffers,Jesse Cox,Mark Larson MD,Kasey Knutson, <br />Candi Blackford <br />Meeting called to order at10:00 am <br />introductions <br />Introductions were completed. <br />Minutes <br />Motion to approve the April 15,2021 Board of Health meeting minutes. <br />Motion 05-01:Motion to approve the April 15,2021 Board of Health meeting minutes.John Asriel <br />moved to approve the April 15,2021 Board of Health meeting minutes.Cory Wright second.AII <br />approved.Motion 05-01carried to approve the April 15,2021 Board of Health meeting minutes. <br />Public Comment Opened at 10:02 am <br />Public Comment Closed at 10:02 am <br />BOHAC Update <br />Tristen Lamb informed the board that the 2021 Public Health Champion had been selected,and will be <br />presented with the award at the June Board of Health meeting.The 2020 Public Health Champion will <br />also be recognized at this meeting,as they were never officially presented with the award last year due <br />to COVID-19. <br />Business <br />Drinking Water Program Review <br />Jesse Cox updated the board on the water program,beginning with a quick overview of the water <br />permitting process through Public Health.The drinking water program is also working with the <br />Department of Ecology to receive direct notification of intent to drill,and working on code revisions for <br />chapter 13. <br />There were questions from the board regarding shared/individual/group wells,and the classifications of <br />them. <br />IMT Update <br />Chelsey Loeffers updated the board regarding Pfizer vaccine for 12-15 year olds,and discussed <br />upcoming clinics.IMT is trying to transition into pop-up clinics from the main mass vaccination site. <br />There were questions from the board regarding scheduling for pop-up clinics,and about vaccination for <br />seasonal/migrant workers.
