Action Requested: Request the Board approve the Resolution authorizing $25,000 for advance
funds for the County Fair and sponsored events.
Background:
Each year the Board of County Commissioners authorizes an advance for the
County Fair in the amount of $25,000. Also in 2021, the Event Center is
sponsoring two events which will need the advance funds, also. These funds are
used to set up the till accounts and to pay the premiums after the fair. The
$25,000 must be paid back by November 5th, 2021.
Recommendation: Request the Board sign the Resolution authorizing the $25,000 advance funds
for the County Fair and Event Center.
