KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />2021 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />June 15, 2021 <br />Conduct a Public Hearing to Consider Adopting the 2021 <br />Kittitas County Recreation and Tourism Plan <br />BACKGROUND: The official public comment period for the 2021 Recreation <br />and Tourism Plan ended on May 7, 2021. Comments <br />received are now incorporated as an Appendix to the Public <br />Hearing draft plan. Board actions following the public <br />hearing portion are: continue the hearing, remand to staff <br />or adopt the plan. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Conduct a Public Hearing; gather public testimony and <br />direct staff as appropriate. An adopting resolution is <br />prepared in the event the Board elects to adopt following <br />the Public Hearing. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution with Public Hearing Draft Plan attached. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
