COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:00 A.M. JUNE 7, 2021
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Commissioner Cory
Wright; and Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Administrative Supervisor; Julie Kjorsvik,
Clerk of the Board; Taylor Crouch, Admin. Assistant; Jesse Cox,
Environmental Health Supervisor and one member of the public.
SPECIAL MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS
At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration
meeting.
CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar.
PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County
Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers.
CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence
Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week
ending June 4, 2021.
AGREEMENT 509 FACILITY SERVICES PUBLIC HEALTH
Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve a Professional Services
Agreement Renewal between Kittitas County and 509 Facility Services
to provide decontamination of spaces previously occupied by
individuals under isolation or quarantine orders through June 14,
2021. Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
AGREEMENT FISH COMMUNITY FOOD BANK PUBLIC HEALTH
Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve a Professional Services
Agreement between Kittitas County and FISH Community Food Bank to
provide In-Home Services to provide grocery and/or prepared meal
delivery to individuals under isolation or quarantine order at their
place of residence through June 25th, 2021. Commissioner Wright
seconded. Motion carried 3-0.

AGREEMENT FISH COMMUNITY FOOD BANK PUBLIC HEALTH
Commissioner Osiadacz moved approve a Professional Services
Agreement between Kittitas County and FISH Community Food Bank to
provide Out-of-Home Services to provide grocery and/or prepared meal
delivery to individuals under isolation or quarantine order at their
place of residence through June 25th, 2021. Commissioner Wright
seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
APPOINTMENT BOWLING ALLEY SUB-COM COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Wright requested that we wait to consider appointing
members to the Committee, to allow for time to develop what the
Committee would do since there are no RFP’s to do. He said the work
is changing so we need to develop what they are doing. Staff was
directed to put it on the Solid Waste Study Session.
UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS
Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to
meet with on a weekly basis. The assignments for 2021 were
determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin meeting
on 1-11-2021.
Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective
departments and exchanged details of those meetings.
DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS
The Board determined for the week of June 7, 2021 they would post on
their Facebook Post the Burn Ban information from the Fire Marshal,
as well as the Airport video if it’s completed.
OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES
There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the
Board participated in, individually over the past week.
