COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 9:00 A.M. MAY 18, 2021
Board members present via Webex: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice-
Chairman Laura Osiadacz, and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others via Webex: Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Julie
Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Lisa Young, HR Director; Tristen Lamb,
Public Health Administrator, and 1 member of the public. SPECIAL MEETING HR UPDATES COMMISSIONERS
At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting to discuss
voluntary vaccination reporting policy.
PROJECT UPDATE- JUVENILE PROBATION
Lisa Young, HR Director stated that the Office Administrator job
would be posted today.
VOLUNTARY VACCINATION REPORTING POLICY
There was some discussion on this topic from the Board. There are
still no updates from L&I regarding the updated guidelines from the
CDC and the State. Tristen Lamb, Public Health Administrator stated
that asking about vaccination status was not covered under HIPAA and
could be allowed.
Commissioner Wright asked if there was any guidance out yet for
businesses. Mrs. Young stated there had not been any released yet.
His concern was that customers and employees should be held to the
same expectations.
The Board was not ready to make any decisions regarding this matter
until more information was available.
