AUTHORTZETHE SELECTION OF COMBINED CONSTRUCTTON, rNC. ANn
BELSAAS & SMrTH CONSTRUCTION, rNC. F',OR THE PUBLTC WORr(S BRTDGE
MAINTENANCE REPAIRS 2O2I _ 2023 ROSTER AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC
WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENTS WITH
EACH CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS: Public Works prepared a request for proposals for Bridge Maintenance Repairs
2021 - 2023 consistent with state law and county code in April2lZl; and
WHEREAS: Submittals were due by April23,2021; and
WHf,REAS: Three (3) qualified proposals were received; and
WHEREAS: Consistent with solicitation advertising, an internal review team of Public Works
reviewed and scored all submittals; and
WHEREAS: The consensus of the reviewers selects Combined Construction,Inc. and Belsaas
& Smith Construction, Inc. for professional services contracts; and
NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best
interest of the public, does hereby authorize the selection of Combined
Construction, Inc. and Belsaas & Smith Construction, Inc. for the Public Works
Bridge Maintenance Repairs 2021 - 2023 roster and authorize the Public Works
Director to sign professional service agreements with each contractor.
