5/03/2021 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX REGULAR MEETING MONDAY 9:00 A.M. MAY 3, 2021 Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Commissioner Cory Wright and Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz. Others: Mandy Buchholz, Administrative Supervisor; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Taylor Crouch, Admin Assistant; Lisa Young, HR Director; George Long, KITTCOM Director; Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Director. SPECIAL MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened the Office Administration meeting. CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week ending April 30, 2021. APPOINTMENT PLANNING COMMISSION COMMISSIONERS Mandy Buchholz, Administrative Supervisor presented three applications (Holly Merrill, Scott Carlson & Warren Taylor) for the Board to consider for appointment to the two vacant seats on the County Planning Commission. Commissioner Wright moved to appoint Warren Taylor, for terms effective immediately (term expire 12/31/2024) and Scott Carlson (term to expire 12/31/2025) to the Kittitas County Planning Commission District One vacancies for four- year terms. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. APPOINTMENT BOWLING ALLEY COMMITTEE COMMISSIONERS N/A no RFP’s were received, so there will not be a Committee formed.
