COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING
WEDNESDAY 4:30 P.M. APRIL 28, 2021
Board members present via Webex: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice-
Chairman Laura Osiadacz. Excused: Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others via Webex: Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Mark
Cook, Public Works Director; and Neil Caulkins, Chief Civil
Prosecutor. SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 4:34 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess
into Executive Session for 15 minutes to consider the selection of a
site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when
public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a
likelihood of increased price No action anticipated.
At 4:49 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. The
Board directed the Prosecutor’s Office to draft a Purchase and Sale
Agreement and have the County pay the equivalent of what the first
half taxes would be for Parcel Number 346534 treating it as the
earnest money for the purchase. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded.
Motion carried 2-0.
