BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF KITTITAS COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, in the matter
of initiating a county road project designated as:

lT lS HEREBY RESOLVED for Hungry Junction Road (M.P. 0.00-1.74) lmprovements
The existing BST pavement is narrow with areas of significant longitudinal cracking and settling over the top of drainage
structures. This existing pavement will be removed and replaced per design. There are also four vertical curves that need
to be corrected to meet safe sight stopping distance design standards for the posted speed limit. The road will be
widened, and above ground obstacles will be removed or relocated, guardrail installed or slopes flattened where
warranted.

This project is hereby declared to be a public necessity and the Director of Public Works acting as the County Engineer is hereby
ordered and authorized to report and proceed thereon as by law provided. (RCW 36.75.050, 36.80.030, 36.80.070).
lT lS FURTHER RESOLVED that an appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on the Director of
Public Works' estimate, is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
