Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br />BOCC AGENDA SESSION <br />STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />BOCC AGENDA SESSION DATE: May 4, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: BOCC Signature of mylar granting final approval for the Vantage Bay Ph 1 Final <br />Plat (LPF-21-00002 & LP-07-00031) <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Vantage Bay Preliminary Plat was approved on December 5, 2006 through <br />Resolution No. 2006-60 (LP-06-00026 and RZ-06-00025). This proposal is for <br />one-hundred and 44 (144) lots on two parcels #622933 and #272933. The subject <br />property is currently zoned PUD and is located south of the I-90 intersection in <br />Vantage in a portion of Section 30, T17N, R23E, WM, in Kittitas County. <br />Assessor’s Map Number: 17-23-30000-0001. The CDS review also included <br />compliance with an associated Shoreline Substantial Development Permit SD-18- <br />00002. <br /> <br /> A final plat application was submitted by William Cowin, agent for BCSBN LLC, <br />on March 1, 2021 requesting final mylar approval for Vantage Bay Ph 1. Due to <br />necessary changes, the final mylars were returned and then resubmitted on April <br />15, 2021. Staff has reviewed the final mylar with supporting documentation and <br />finds that it is consistent with the preliminary approval documents. Additionally, <br />final plat review has been processed in conformance with Kittitas County Code <br />Title 16. The mylar has been reviewed by all reviewing departments, and all <br />signatures have been obtained. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, <br />Public Health, and Assessor’s Office <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the Vantage Bay Ph 1 <br />Plat (LP-06-00026 and RZ-06-00025). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for Treasurer <br />signature and recording. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Final mylar for the Vantage Bay Ph 1 (LP-06-00026 and RZ-06-00025). <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Jeremy Johnston, Community Development Services Planning Official
