ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing to consider a Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) - General Purpose
Grant for FISH Community Food Bank.
BACKGROUND: FISH has contracted with Belsaas and Smith to design and
construct a food pantry; and to design and renovate an
administrative building. FISH is applying for a Community
Development Block Grant General Purpose Grant to assist
with funding. A requirement of the grant application is to
hold a Public Hearing to allow citizens to provide
comments on the proposal.
INTERACTION: Representatives of FISH and Judy Pless, Budget & Finance
Manager have been working together on preparing the
grant application.
RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing to consider a CDBG General Purpose
Grant to be held on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. via
Webex video conferencing.
