KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: May 4, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for June 1, 2021 at 2:00 pm local <br />time to consider an Irrigation Franchise with The Ranch on Swank <br />Creek on Burke and Ranch Road(s). <br />BACKGROUND: The Ranch on Swank Creek has applied for an irrigation franchise <br />to improve irrigation delivery in the area. The applicant is <br />partnering with Kittitas County Conservation District and staff has <br />reviewed the engineered plans. <br />After approval a work in the right of way permit will be required <br />for the proposed work. <br />The Franchise Application is complete and the appropriate <br />application fee has been collected. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a public hearing on June 1, 2021 at 2:00 pm local time and <br />advertise accordingly, to consider an irrigation franchise with The <br />Ranch on Swank Creek along Burke Road and Ranch Road. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Franchise Application <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Director of Public Works <br />
