<br />The purpose ofthe Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2018 Homeland Security Grant Program (18HSGP) is to support state and local efforts to prevent tenorism
<br />and other, calastrophic evenls and to prepare the Nation for lhreals and hazards that pose lhe greatest risk lo the security of the United States. 18HSGP
<br />provides funding to implement investments that build, sustain, and deliver the core capabilities essential to achieving the National Preparedness Goal of a
<br />secure and resilient Nation. l,8HSGP supports core capabililies across lhe five mission areas of Prevenlion, Protection, Miligation, Response, and Recovery
<br />based on allowable costs. HSGP is comprised of three interconnected grant programs: State Homeland Security Program (SHSP), Urban Areas Security
<br />lnitiative {UASI), and Operation Stonegarden (OPSG). Togelher, these grant programs fund a range of pr6paredness ac{ivities, including planningi,
<br />organization, equipment purchase, lraining, exercises, and management and administration.
<br />The Department is the Recipient and Pass-through Entity of the 18HSGP DHS Award Lelter for Grant No. EMW-2018-SS-00088-S01, which is incorporated
<br />in and altached hereto as Atlachment 'l , and is making a subaward of funds to the Subrecipient pursuant lo this Agreement. The Subrecipient is accountable
<br />to the Department for use of Federal award funds provided under this Agreement. The Subrecipient's Work Plan, Timeline, and Buclget filr the subaward are
<br />detailed in Aftachment 2.
