KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: April 20, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement Between the City of Kittitas, Washington and the County of <br />Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates. <br />BACKGROUND: This Interlocal Agreement is between the City of Kittitas and Kittitas <br />County for the Housing of inmates from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 with a <br />one-year renewal option. The daily rates proposed are $66.50/day in 2021, and <br />$69.83/day in $2022 (an increase of 5% over 2021). <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office has reviewed and approved <br />this Interlocal Agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between the City of Kittitas, Washington and the County of <br />Kittitas, Washington for the housing of inmates. <br />HANDLING: Please return one fully executed original to KCSO, which we will <br />provide to the City for its records. <br />LEAD STAFF: Superintendent Panattoni <br />
