AGENDA DATE: April 20, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an
Interlocal Agreement Between the City of Kittitas, Washington and the County of
Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates.
BACKGROUND: This Interlocal Agreement is between the City of Kittitas and Kittitas
County for the Housing of inmates from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 with a
one-year renewal option. The daily rates proposed are $66.50/day in 2021, and
$69.83/day in $2022 (an increase of 5% over 2021).
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office has reviewed and approved
this Interlocal Agreement.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an
Interlocal Agreement between the City of Kittitas, Washington and the County of
Kittitas, Washington for the housing of inmates.
HANDLING: Please return one fully executed original to KCSO, which we will
provide to the City for its records.
