KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />2021 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />April 20, 2021 <br />Request to Authorize the Advertisement of a Request for <br />Proposals for the "Spring Creek Planting" Project. <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County has a need for purchased services to <br />support restoration planting on property purchased by the <br />Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District. Public Works <br />is requesting to solicit private contractors to implement the <br />Spring Creek Restoration Plan. This activity is funded by <br />the Yakima Basin Integrated Plan. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize advertising for proposals from contractors for the <br />Spring Creek Planting project. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Request for Proposals <br />LEAD STAFF: Arden Thomas, Water Resource Manager. <br />
