KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: April 20, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to select Aspect <br />Consulting, LLC, and Landau Associates for water bank <br />consultant support services supporting Public Works for up <br />to a Three -Year Period and Authorize the Public Works <br />Director to execute said Contracts. <br />BACKGROUND: PW continues to require water resources professional <br />services to support water bank program development. On <br />02/08/2021, the Department requested and received <br />permission from the Board to solicit for professional <br />services (consistent with state law and County, policy). <br />Responders provided qualifications for review on <br />03/05/2021. Staff has completed review of responder <br />information and recommends the selection of Aspect <br />Consulting, LLC, and Landau Associates for standard <br />professional contracts. On 04/12/2021 staff requested and <br />received permission from the Board to select two on-call <br />contractors and to authorize the Public Works Director as <br />the County signatory on both agreements. The contracts are <br />in place for a two-year base period with a third potential <br />year if mutually agreed upon. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve a resolution to select Aspect Consulting, LLC, and <br />Landau Associates for water bank consultant support <br />services professional services contracts supporting Public <br />Works for up to a three-year period and authorize the <br />Public Works Director to execute said contracts. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
