AGENDA DATE: April 20, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval of Resolution to award bid for the Phase 1
Road and Utilities for the New Transfer Station and for Boards
approval for Chairs signature on Local Agency Contract.
BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Solid Waste went out to bid for the Phase 1 road and
utility improvement for the new transfer station location. The County
received 3 bids for the project.
Jacobs Engineering reviewed the bids and recommended to award the
bid to the lowest responsive bidder which is Belsaas and Smith
Construction Inc.
The local agency contract has been completed and is also available for
chairs signature.
INTERACTION: Jacobs Engineering, Duty Prosecutor, Solid Waste Director
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Boards Signature on Resolution a approval for chairs on
the Local agency contract with Belsaas and Smith Construction Inc.
HANDLING: Return copy of signed resolution and contract
