KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: April 20, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval of Resolution to award bid for the Phase 1 <br />Road and Utilities for the New Transfer Station and for Boards <br />approval for Chairs signature on Local Agency Contract. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Solid Waste went out to bid for the Phase 1 road and <br />utility improvement for the new transfer station location. The County <br />received 3 bids for the project. <br /> <br /> Jacobs Engineering reviewed the bids and recommended to award the <br />bid to the lowest responsive bidder which is Belsaas and Smith <br />Construction Inc. <br /> <br /> The local agency contract has been completed and is also available for <br />chairs signature. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Jacobs Engineering, Duty Prosecutor, Solid Waste Director <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Boards Signature on Resolution a approval for chairs on <br />the Local agency contract with Belsaas and Smith Construction Inc. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return copy of signed resolution and contract <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution and Local Agency agreement <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Stacey <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
