BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021 - <br />RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County went out to bid for a contractor to provide services for the <br />Kittitas County Transfer station Phase 1- Road and Utility improvements; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County received three bids for the Kittitas County Transfer station <br />Phase 1- Road and Utility improvements; and <br />WHEREAS: Jacobs Engineering group has reviewed the bid's required documents; and <br />WHEREAS: Jacobs Engineering group has confirmed that the low bidder in as licensed <br />contractor with the Department of Labor and Industries and; <br />WHEREAS: It has been confirmed with the Federal Government website "SAM" <br />(System for Award Management) that the contractor has not been debarred or suspended <br />from with the Federal Government; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, and having considered the review documents copies of <br />which are attached hereto and incorporated by reference, hereby awards the bid for the <br />Kittitas County Transfer station Phase 1- Road and Utility improvements to Belsaas and <br />Smith Construction Inc. <br />ADOPTED this day of 2021. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chair <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chair <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
