Agreement No. OTGP-2021-KiCoSW-00050 <br />ONE TIME GRANT PROGRAM AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN <br />THE STATE OF WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY <br />AND <br />KITTITAS COUNTY - SOLID WASTE <br />This is a binding Agreement entered into by and between the state of Washington , Department of Ecology, hereinafter <br />referred to as “ECOLOGY,” and KITTITAS COUNTY - SOLID WASTE, hereinafter referred to as the “RECIPIENT,” <br />to carry out with the provided funds activities described herein. <br />Feasibility Study into Secondary Recycling Markets <br />GENERAL INFORMATION <br />Project Title: <br />Total Cost: <br />Total Eligible Cost: <br />Ecology Share: <br />Recipient Share: <br />The Effective Date of this Agreement is: <br />The Expiration Date of this Agreement is no later than: <br />Project Type: <br />Project Short Description: <br />Kittitas County will spend $40,000 to conduct a feasibility study into regional recycling markets and create an action <br />plan that directs future efforts to improve secondary markets for recyclables , and through its implementation creates <br />educational/research opportunities and livable wage jobs. <br />Project Long Description: <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste in partnership with Central Washington University , Yakima County, and in concert with <br />Ellensburg’s Business Development Authority , seeks funding to support a forward focused feasibility study into <br />secondary recycling markets with an eye toward a regional, comprehensive action plan.
