KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2021 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: April 6, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to schedule a Public Hearing for April 20, 2021 at <br />2:00 pm local time to consider a Road Vacation request by <br />Josh Benson for vacating public right of way within the <br />Timber Valley Plat. <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works has a road vacation request vacating public <br />rights of way within "Timber Valley" plat. A public <br />hearing is required by County code considering the merits <br />of the vacation request. At the public hearing, the County <br />Engineer will provide the Board an Engineer's Report <br />addressing the vacation request pursuant to County Code <br />and State law. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Schedule a public hearing for April 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm <br />local time to consider the vacation request vacating various <br />rights of way within "Timber Valley" plat. <br />HANDLING: Return one Notice of Public Hearing to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: None. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
