KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: April 6, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to execute Addendum to Agreements for Kittitas County <br />Superior Court Indigent Defense Services with Candy Powers <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: In 2021 the Superior Court entered into agreements with attorneys to <br />provide indigent defense services for adult and juvenile criminal <br />matters as follows: <br /> <br />2021 Felony Juvenile Total <br />Powers 101 21 $102,050 <br />King 35 7 $35,182 <br />Zimmerman 67 13 $67,086 <br />McBride 67 13 $67,086 <br />Alumbaugh 30 6 $30,156 <br />TOTAL 300 60 $301,560 <br /> <br />Guy Zimmerman terminated his Agreement effective March 1, 2021, and the balance of his cases <br />were given to Candy Powers and Margie Alumbaugh.
