ACTION REQUESTED: Request to execute Addendum to Agreements for Kittitas County
Superior Court Indigent Defense Services with Candy Powers
BACKGROUND: In 2021 the Superior Court entered into agreements with attorneys to
provide indigent defense services for adult and juvenile criminal
matters as follows:

Powers 101 21 $102,050
King 35 7 $35,182
Zimmerman 67 13 $67,086
McBride 67 13 $67,086
Alumbaugh 30 6 $30,156
TOTAL 300 60 $301,560
Guy Zimmerman terminated his Agreement effective March 1, 2021, and the balance of his cases
were given to Candy Powers and Margie Alumbaugh. The Addendum provides for indigent
defense services for adult and juvenile criminal matters as follows:

Zimmerman 6 9 $11,148.00

INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and signed the proposed
Addendum to Agreements.
RECOMMENDATION: Execute the Agreement for Kittitas County Superior Court Indigent
Defense Services with Candy Powers
