MARCH 16, 2021 <br />Board members present via WebEx: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others via WebEx: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy Buchholz, <br />Administrative Supervisor; Mark Cook, Public Works Director; Darren <br />Higashiyama, Chief Deputy; Kasey Knudson, Special Programs Manager; <br />Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Steve Panattoni, Jail <br />Superintendent; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Jeremy Johnston, Planning <br />Official; Cody Cupp, HHW Supervisor; Josh Fredrickson, Engineer; Ken <br />Grannan, Airport Director; Kady Porterfield, Event Center Director; and <br />Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor. <br /> <br />Kittitas County is currently in Phase 2 of the “Healthy Washington – <br />Roadmap to Recovery” and in person participation is allowed however, we <br />are currently unable to meet the regulations required Per Governor <br />Inslee’s Proclamation 20-28 et seq. the public was encouraged to join <br />the meeting by joining a WebEx event online. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Wachsmith called the meeting to order. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIENCE <br />Chairman Wachsmith led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES – NONE PROCLAMATIONS PROCLAMATION NATIONAL COUNTY GOVERNMENT MONTH COMMISSIONERS <br />Vice-Chairman Osiadacz moved to approve a Proclamation for National <br />County Government Month in April 2021 and to encourage all County <br />officials, employees, schools, and residents to participate in County <br />government celebration activities. Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion <br />carried 3-0. <br /> <br />
