COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:00 A.M. MARCH 15, 2021
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Commissioner Cory
Wright and Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Administrative Supervisor; Julie Kjorsvik,
Clerk of the Board; Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Tristen
Lamb, Public Health Administrator; Mark Larson, Public Health
Official; Chris Horner, Deputy Prosecutor.
SPECIAL MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS
At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration
meeting.
CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar.
PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County
Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers.
CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence
Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week
ending March 12, 2021.
RESOLUITON 2021-036 SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve Resolution No. 2021-036, a
Resolution Regarding Acceptance of KCC 5.20 Special Event Permit
Applications During the COVID-19 Pandemic. Commissioner Wright
seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
RESOLUITON 2021-037 EWCOG COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Wright moved to approve Resolution No. 2021-037, a
Resolution Adopting Articles of Association and Bylaws for the
Eastern Washington Council of Governments. Commissioner Osiadacz
seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
LETTERS US DEPT.OF TRANSPORT COMMISSIONERS
3/15/2021 MINUTES 2
Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve and authorize Board signature
on a letter to U.S. Dept. Of Transportation Pete Buttigieg,
regarding the I-90/Vantage Bridge – Replacement Bridge Deck and
Special Repairs Project, as presented. Commissioner Wright seconded.
Motion caried 3-0.
UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS
Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to
meet with on a weekly basis. The assignments for 2021 were
determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin meeting
on 1-11-2021.
Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective
departments and exchanged details of those meetings.

OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES
There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the
Board participated in, individually over the past week.
Commissioner Wright stated he would like to have a Special Meeting
with the Board, Elected Officials and Department Heads about the
Late Financial Audits and Reporting. Commissioner Wachsmith and
Commissioner Osiadacz agreed.
