AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: March 16, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of
Amended Interlocal Agreement #K9561(6) between the Washington State Department of
Corrections and the County of Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates.
BACKGROUND: This is an amendment to the existing Interlocal Agreement signed in
2016 between the Washington State Department of Corrections and Kittitas County for
the housing of inmates from January 1, 2021 — December 31, 2021. The proposed daily
rate for this period is $70.91 per Department offender.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office has reviewed and approved
this Interlocal Agreement.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of
Amended Interlocal Agreement #K9561(6) between the Washington State Department of
Corrections and the County of Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates.
HANDLING: Please return one fully executed original to KCSO, which we will
provide to the State for its records.
