KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: March 16, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of <br />Amended Interlocal Agreement #K9561(6) between the Washington State Department of <br />Corrections and the County of Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates. <br />BACKGROUND: This is an amendment to the existing Interlocal Agreement signed in <br />2016 between the Washington State Department of Corrections and Kittitas County for <br />the housing of inmates from January 1, 2021 — December 31, 2021. The proposed daily <br />rate for this period is $70.91 per Department offender. <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office has reviewed and approved <br />this Interlocal Agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of <br />Amended Interlocal Agreement #K9561(6) between the Washington State Department of <br />Corrections and the County of Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates. <br />HANDLING: Please return one fully executed original to KCSO, which we will <br />provide to the State for its records. <br />LEAD STAFF: Superintendent Steve Panattoni <br />
