RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR PURCHASE OF TENT STRUCTURES FOR THE
KITTITAS VALLEY EVENT CENTER
WHEREAS, A Notice of Call for Bids for Bid Number: KVEC2021-01 was advertised to furnish two
tent structures; and
WHEREAS, submitted bids were opened by March 1, 2021 by the Kittitas Valley Event Center
Director. Three (3) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Event Center recommends that the responsible bid from ESAPCO (dba
FarmTek) from Windsor, CT, in the total amount, including tax and delivery, of
$30,556.67 be accepted as the lowest responsible bidder to meet specifications; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County,
Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for tent structures
to ESAPCO (dba FarmTek), in the total amount, including tax and delivery, of
$30,556.67, with said award conditioned upon the terms and conditions as specified in the
Bid Packet submitted by said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Event Center Director be authorized to sign the contract
documents for the bid awarded hereunder pursuant to the terms and conditions as specified
in the Bid Packet submitted by said bidder.
