MARCH 2, 2021 <br />Board members present via WebEx: Chairman Brett Wachsmith and <br />Commissioner Cory Wright. Excused: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy Buchholz, <br />Administrative Supervisor; Mike Flory, Building Official; Neil <br />Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Steph <br />Mifflin, Plans Examiner; Pat Nicholson, Fire Marshall; Jeremy <br />Larson, Plans Examiner; Toni Berkshire, Code Enforcement Officer; <br />Kathy Boots, Permit Tech. and 5 members of the public. <br /> <br />This meeting was provided to the public via WebEx and they were <br />previously notified on the Agenda as to where they could access and <br />provide public comments. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING AMENDMENTS TO COUNTY CODE CDS <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />Amending Kittitas County Code Chapter 14.04 and Title 20 to adopt <br />the 2018 International Building Codes with Washington State <br />Amendments and referenced standards and to consider amending <br />Kittitas County Code Title 18 to correct grammatical and scrivener <br />errors. <br /> DAN CARLSON, CDS DIRECTOR reviewed a Staff Report on proposed <br />changes to Kittitas County Code Chapter 14, 18, and 20 for adoption <br />of the 2018 ICC Codes with Washington State Amendments. He noted <br />the Central Washington Home Builders were notified of the hearing <br />date. He recommended approval of the proposed amendments. MIKE FLORY, BUILDING OFFICIAL reviewed the proposed amendments and <br />answered questions from the Board of County Commissioners. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED.
