BOARD OF COLINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COIINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />No. Jo A t-0 1A <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH MAINTENANCE ROCK MATERIALS FOR ONE <br />(1) CALENDAR YEAR FOLLOWING CONTRACT EXECUTION AND AUTHORIZE <br />THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 2,2021, to <br />furnish Maintenance Rock Materials for 2021; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 18,2021 at2:00 pm in the Kittitas County <br />Public Works Office and one (1) bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Ellensburg <br />Cement Products, Inc. be accepted for Schedules ooA", "B" and "C" for <br />Maintenance Rock Materials for one (1) calendar year following contract <br />execution; and <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2021Maintenance Rock Materials to <br />Ellensburg Cement Products, Inc. for Schedules "A","8", ando'C", upon such terms and <br />conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s); and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 2nd day of March2l2l, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />- Julie Kjorsvik <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COI'NTY, <br />w th, Chairman <br />ABSENT <br />Laura O siadacz, Vice-Chairman <br />illll,l// <br />TTYLa <br />cory
