BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESoLUflON NO. 2021 --0 A- <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL AID <br />PROJECT PROSPECTUS FOR THE MANASTASH ROAD CREEK BANK STABILIZATION <br />AND SNOW PARK IMPROVEMENT, CRP 273.16 <br />WHEREAS: The Manastash Road realignment and bank stabilization project was requested <br />in 2016 due to a deteriorating roadway and bank erosion resulting from <br />Manastash Creek; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works submitted for, and was approved for a Federal <br />Lands Access Program (FLAP) Grant for up to $1,332,968.00, with up to <br />$154,169.00 available for preliminary engineering; and <br />WHEREAS:January 5, 2020, a Local Agency Project Prospectus was signed that included an <br />amount that exceeded the Western Federal Lands programmed amount for <br />preliminary engineering with resolution 2021-009. This Project Prospectus has <br />been updated lowering the amount for preliminary engineering and increasing the <br />amount for construction.
