BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN <br />INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT -CORONAVIRUS (CDBG-CV-1) PROGRAM <br />CONTRACT #20-6221C-115 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021-_____ <br />WHEREAS, Chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, authorizes <br />public agencies to enter into agreements for mutually advantageous joint or cooperative action; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce are public <br />agencies within the meaning of chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce will enter <br />into the agreement to fund the Costs incurred for the Activities to prevent, prepare for, and <br />respond to coronavirus in partnership with local service providers for the CDBG -CV1 consortium <br />area. in Kittitas County for the period of March 27, 2020 thru January 31, 2023. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />authorizes the execution of the Interagency Agreement with Washington State Department of <br />Commerce, attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />APPROVED, this 2ND day of March 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> __________________________________ <br /> Brett, Wachsmith, Chairman <br /> <br /> __________________________________ <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> ATTEST __________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Commissioner <br /> <br /> _____________________________ <br /> Clerk of the Board
